2. Website purpose
davstudios.it presents portfolio work, services, creative activities, information and contact options relating to _davstudios.
Published information is descriptive and may be updated, corrected or reorganised over time.
3. Project enquiries
Submitting the “Start a Project” form, sending an email or sending a message does not automatically create an engagement, conclude a contract or create an obligation to provide services.
Each project is assessed individually. Scope, price, timing, revisions, usage rights, payments, deliverables and other conditions are defined in the quotation, proposal or agreement applicable to that engagement.
4. Prices and payments
Any prices, packages or budget ranges shown on the website are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise and do not replace a project-specific quotation.
The website does not automatically conclude a paid contract through the project enquiry form. Applicable conditions are communicated before any payment or binding commitment.
When online payments or digital-product sales are enabled, the relevant terms, pre-contractual information and payment conditions will be made available before the user becomes bound by the purchase.
5. Consumers
Where a client acts as a consumer, all mandatory consumer protections remain applicable, including the required pre-contractual information and, where applicable, statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts.
Any exception to withdrawal rights, request to begin a service during the withdrawal period or condition applying to customised digital products must be communicated and accepted in accordance with applicable law before the relevant contract is concluded.
6. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, original text, layouts, visual identity elements, original code, images created by _davstudios and other original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Client work displayed in the portfolio does not grant website visitors any rights in trademarks, content or materials owned by the relevant clients or rights holders.
- Normal browsing and sharing links to public pages is permitted.
- Republishing, reselling or presenting original website content as one’s own without permission is not permitted. Software published under an open-source licence is instead governed by the specific licence supplied with that project.
7. Open-source software and third-party licences
LAB applications may be distributed as open-source software. The licence that applies to original _davstudios code is the licence included in the repository or package for the specific release; where stated, this may for example be the MIT License. If a website summary conflicts with the licence file supplied with the software, the supplied licence file prevails.
An application may incorporate, execute or redistribute third-party components under different licences. A reference to “MIT” for _davstudios code does not replace or modify those third-party licences; notices, attributions and conditions included in the repository, package or release documentation must be respected.
For _davMEDIA, the FFmpeg/FFprobe binaries in the current distribution are subject to GPL-3.0-or-later; for _davPDF, the PDFium runtime is subject to BSD-3-Clause and may include further third-party components under their own licences. Licence information supplied with each release remains the authoritative reference.
Compatibility, supported formats and behaviour may vary by release and operating system. For tools that rename, convert, delete, move or otherwise modify files or system settings, users should maintain suitable backups and review previews, destinations and confirmations before proceeding. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Third-party links and services
The website may link to GitHub, external services, social networks, WhatsApp Business or support platforms. When users open an external service or download a release hosted by an external provider, the relevant provider’s terms and policies apply.
_davstudios does not control the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party sites reached through ordinary links.
9. Availability and information accuracy
Reasonable care is taken to keep the website available and information accurate, but uninterrupted operation, complete absence of technical errors, universal compatibility or permanent accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
Obvious errors may be corrected without notice. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Fonts and digital products
The font-licensing page remains a general description until commercial fonts are published. Each future font distribution or sale will be governed by the specific licence supplied with that product.
Before online purchases are enabled, the required commercial terms and consumer information will also be defined and made available.
11. Governing law and disputes
Use of the website is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory rights available to users under any law that must apply to them.
Where the user acts as a consumer, mandatory rules on jurisdiction and consumer protection remain unaffected, including the consumer’s place of residence or domicile where required by law.
For business or professional clients, unless otherwise agreed in writing, territorial jurisdiction is determined under the ordinary applicable rules.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the website, services or applicable law. The version governing ordinary website use is the version published at the time of access.
